They sent a series of emails to me, that purported to be from the CEO of our company instructing me to pay a past due invoice. The invoice and Form W-9 were attached to the email, along with bank wiring instructions. It looked very real and I had to talk with our CEO to make sure it was not a legitimate invoice.
