I was messaged from my backstage about a possible modeling job opportunity from KongWTalents.com and this is what was promised: Total Talent Compensation: $3,500 (Tax Deducted)

- Shooting Fee: $1,000

- Usage Fee: $2,500 (12-month global licensing for campaign features and promotion)

- Location & Styling Budget: $2,200

- Grand Total Payment to Talent:$5,700

Then they asked for my address and size card they never gave me information about where the shoot was taking place which I thought was odd. Then they sent a check 3,200 dollars which I am afraid will just bounce that’s probably where they get people to have to pay that money back.

I was emailed by KongWTalents.com with a modeling opportunity after receiving a direct message on my Backstage profile. The modeling opportunity stated that I would be representing Helmut Lang commercially for 12 months after 1 luxury photoshoot. They asked for personal information and to schedule a date to do a shoot in a studio near my location. After thorough research and reaching out to my modeling manager, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that they were a scam. I would like to warn others by saying anytime a company reaches out to do a photo shoot with you at any location to be weary. Typically companies will have you go to them and there will be a designated photo shoot location. Companies typically never have you shoot at your nearest studio.

I was contacted on a legitimate casting website by an account by someone named 'ivan mikulic' about a modeling opportunity for Helmut Lang. I was told to email my photos and portfolio to [email protected] from KongWTalents.com.

The next morning i was told i was selected for the photo shoot and would recieve payment along with money for a 'studio truck.' They sent me an echeck front and back that i was supposed to print out and deposit. When i asked why the model would be purchasing the studio truck instead of the agency itself or Helmut Lang they replied with what looked like automated text about it somehow making the process more 'fair.' I never responded to them after that.
