I overlooked all the signs because I shop online frequently and with great success I've grown complacent. It didn't look reputable but it didn't look like a fake or scam either, it even allowed me to set up an account for fast customer checkout service like a reputable company. From the outset it all looked very normal and I was just focused on getting a bargain deal on a name brand item. So I place the order with a MasterCard and get confirmation and emails with tracking info etc, nothing shady yet, I told it's being sent from China which I shrug off because I buy things from Asia all the time, then when it finally arrives, I open it much to my dismay I find a dress that is an old piece of red flannel cloth that smells likes it's been in a warehouse for decades. It smells rank. I then observe the label which states the value is $10 not the $106 I originally spent. I guess since I've always had success with online purchases through Amazon and eBay, (even when things went awry which was seldom it was always appropriately handled, with professional efficiency). I made futile attempts getting a response from the contact forum on the website, so I emailed the third party company and they sent me delayed emails in broken english pretending to care and that they were contacting the shop. I do the legwork of confirming their mistake via pics and email screenshots and label prints, (it then hits me I've been scammed), the last email sent to me was a screenshot with confirmation the package has been delivered.... insisting they sent the right dress, that is all. They have no intention of doing right and refunding me.
