Someone by the name if Ms. Marie Strickland, communication manger USA Head office (KPMG International) reached responded to my resume posted on careerbuilders about a position. Stating a MacBook wll be loaded with the software will be sent to me. A check will be FEDEX or UPS to me with a check to dedposit immediately to purchase office supplies to work from home. The next day she reached out to say the company will not be sending the check out through FEDEX, it will now be sent to my email. I was to print the check, cut it in a check size, the deposit it via mobile.
After I responded with questions asking for a confirmation letter confirming salary and my supervisors name and phone number before I cash a check she logged off Telegram. I Google the phone number and found this phone number to be reported as a SCAM!

I applied for a job right on their website. When i rec'd an email asking for my resume, and to describe a few job functions, and to give 3 time slots i am available to be called. I thought - ok,. The confirmation email keeps repeating the job req# giving specific links to the website, all looks very thorough. My hesitation is because i am then informed that the caller will be calling me from South Africa KPMG Global recruiting site. That if I miss the call, not to call back just to wait for them to call back 10 min. later. That is weird to me. I have dealt with Global companies before and have always been contacted by a US recruiter.

Submitted a resume from a advertisement on craigslist.com/savannah I was contacted via email today (08/01/16) staying for me to contact Katharine McCauley via Google hangouts to complete my interview. I did so & was informed I would be placed with an at home work position & all of my software/hardware would be provided as well as a laptop, printer, fax etc. That I would receive a "cheque" via fed ex in order to purchase certain specific items bit I had to deposit this check into my acct. Upon asking for further information to verify company I was ignored on Google hangouts so I sent an email to [email protected] asking for this info. She then provided me with the website address of kpmg. I accessed the website obtained a local office number & contacted the Atlanta office. They verified that this was in fact a scam & they are fully aware of this as of last week. Ppl plz,do your research. If it sounds too good to be true then most likely it is. So glad I did my research 1st.

I received a email today at 1:30p according to the email from a William Robinson stating my resume was reviewed and approved by the HR dept. Stated the interview would take place in google hangouts the hiring manager is Mr. Andrew V. Bennett. [email protected] is what connected to in google hangouts the name of the company is called KPMG Global LLP. I was just the victim of fraud and my account through the bank I had was closed as a result. This company and these people sound just like Speedtech Inc. Logisys Computer Inc. whom I reported just this past weekend. They asked for personal information just like the other people did in google hangouts such as name age location. And then address banking account information full name cell phone and email. I found this to be odd and cut all contact as it reminded me of what I just went through and all red signals went off. I hope some kind of way these people are caught so that they can't try to harm anyone else.
