I went onto yahoo.com to check my email. On the landing page for yahoo, I received two ads that stated Robin Roberts and Lara from Good Morning America popped up stating they were leaving the show and starting their own skin care line. I believed I was going to be getting a free trial of these products was supposed to cost $4.95 for the face cream and the eye cream cost $1.95 but instead I got charged $89.97 and the eye cream cost $68.24. I was also charged a foreign transaction fee on my bill. I heard a news segment on this exact scenario stating that scam artists are using celebrity names to get consumers to buy products. I argued with this company and was able to get a 65% reduction of my bill, but only after I threatened to call the ScamPulse.com. I was mislead using the names of celebrities and falling for a "free trial" when I actually got charged full price.
