I wanted to bring to your attention a new scam going around that I myself just experienced first hand. Being operations manager for a construction company I do all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll - anything financial, as well as many other responsibilities. I received a call from: ###-###-#### stating they are KSA Online Local Listings and if we wished to renew or cancel our online listing. Being new to the company this year and not being involved in the previous year I was unsure if there was any agreement or contract for this. The sales rep *** *** then told me the Manager Amelia would call me to send me an invoice and collect payment. I told her to send the invoice so I may review and of course send to local authorities because there was no agreement (Confirmed with the owner). Once I asked for the contract or any proof of the agreement I was hung up on. There may be people who run businesses themselves that may use online listings and lose track and I would hate for anyone to fall prey to this. KSA Online Local Listing is a scam. They are targeting small businesses and individuals who are self employed. They retrieve your information via internet and are very very clever with making it seem as if there was truly an account.
