Formed a LLC recently then received a letter from ks corporate certificates stating that I needed to pay $75 to them to get my business in good standing. Says they are not a Goverment agency but that they can provide my business with a certificate of good standing with the official state seal on it. It’s only $10 to order a certificate of hood standing from the state of Kansas. Hope other business owners don’t fall prey to this ridiculous scam.
