I applied to be an administrative assistant for Slate Property Group July 2, 2019 via Indeed. I received an email saying that the position was filled but was given an opportunity to be an assistant to John Kudlow. He’s supposed to be the manager of consulting through their company. He contacted me and asked for basic contact information. I get a check in the mail for $3450, a few days after speaking with him. He also told me that I’d get $400 from each check. He was pressuring me to cash the check. I had to open an account to deposit it. A few days later, my account was frozen due to the fraudulent check he sent me. Now he’s nowhere to be found.
