I AM NOW WORKING WITH "CITI CARDS" TO REMOVE THIS CHARGE FROM MY ACCOUNT. THUS FAR, I HAVE HAD LITTLE SUCCESS. I HAVE PROVIDED ABSOLUTE PROFF THAT THIS WAS A FRAUDULENT CHARGE. ALL I KEEP HEARING IS THE SAME THING I WEARD FROM PAYPAL "THE PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED". WORST CASE IS WE WILL NOT PAY THIS CHARGE SINCE WE ARE TOLD WE HAVE "FRAUD PROTECTION". I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AT THEIR WEB SITE "WWW.IC3.GOV" AND I URGE EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN VICTIMIZED BY THIS GUY TO DO THE SAME.
Henan 410000 CN which not a business or an actual address.
They gave me deadline to mail the package back but I can't mail it without a valid address. This is so sad. With all that's going on in the world, someone is this cruel and heartless. The website I used to place the order has been removed from the web.
We are adding all this information on this site but nothing to ID this guy is on the websites we are ordering from, so you don't know you are being violated until you get the little package. They use our trust in PayPal to get us to reduce our guard.
'
He should be arrested for fraud.. Google should be charged for giving him a platform to falsely advertise this scam.. Paypal for offering their credit and access to steal the money from us.. Paypal did not stand behind me for buyer protection after appealing(s) a return of my money.. Hopefully this is the beginning of a major investigation and a punitive lawsuit towards all of the above..I'm in.
So I took as many photos as I could, called my bank again and told them the whole situation and how I had proof. They were like, okay. Fax it to us and we'll fix this.
Okay, no problem. I even went into my local branch to do it in person and made sure it was all going to the right place.
So, the people at the branch were super nice, super helpful. Now, it was up to the claims department to fix my situation since they were the ones who originally told me to send in all this info.
I didn't hear back from any of the people at claims, the branch people said they hadn't been given the update either, but they said to keep calling I'm sure it's being resolved.
Okay, cool.
I call back today since my dude at the location closest to my house is on vacation. I'm like, "Hey remember me? I still don't have my money back so I'm wondering what the status is looking like on this fraudlent purchase."
THESE TWO B's (they work for Chase btw) tell me, "Well, there's nothing we can do since you didn't provide the documentation the first time and our claims only have one chance at rebuttal."
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I went OFF.
I did exactly everything right, followed every step, was so patient and kind to everyone I interacted with about this, and then this rep AND her supervisor have the nerve to tell me that THEY told me to jump through all these hoops already knowing that it wouldn't lead anywhere?
I told them I looked up this person, in China, with the email that kickbacks, with the phone number that doesn't work, with the address that's just some random house and they, told me my only option is to sue them.
I'd have a better chance of suing Casper the goddamn friendly ghost.
They said they were only able to contact this scammer via Visa, so I asked if they could do that again and they simply said, "No."
But they had absolutely no problem finding my account to take that money back out a second time to hand back to this [censored].
So, needless to say. Lesson learned. I now have a cheaply made $215.98 phone case that isn't even for my phone and I've called my local Chase branch to tell them that I'm taking my LARGE banking account elsewhere since I no longer trust these horrible customer service reps of theirs or the fact that they only allow a dispute to be reversed ONCE.
Hope anyone dealing with this POS has a different experience and got their money back, but I wasn't as lucky.
Also, don't bank with Chase cause they SU**.
