Labor Law Phishing Call Reports & Reviews (1)

- Omaha, NE, USA • Oct 07, 2024

The individual called asking to speak with our HR representative. The call was forwarded to the HR Representative and was given an option to leave a voicemail. They chose not to & called back immediately. When we answered the phone, they said they had labor law updates they needed to disclose to us immediately. I asked if they left a message for our HR rep. They said they did not as the information was time sensitive and they were trying to avoid phone tag. They then asked if they could disclose the information to me. I said I would not be able to take down the information, so they asked if I'd be able to forward them to anyone else. I said no, that they'd need to leave a voicemail for our HR representative and she'd give them a call back at her earliest convenience.
