I have a concern about a phone call my 83 year old mother received. I wonder if they were pretending to be Lake County Water or Painesville Water Department. They initially left a voice message and she returned the call. She lives in a condominium. The caller identified themselves as being with Lake County Water or Painesville Water Department. Reporting excessive water usage at our address. Asked if she was filling up a swimming pool. We live in a condominium. The phone number in her caller ID was 440-392-5785. What struck me as funny was they asked her to check the toilets for a slow leak. When the water company comes out they usually put a stick in the ground. They said they could send someone out. We need a plumber. Not have the water company come in the house. She agreed to have someone come out tomorrow and come in the house. I don't know why they need to come in the house. I don't want them in the house. I live with my mother. I tried to call the number back. The message does not give a company name. It just states leave a voice mail message.
