Hoodwinked a young Cuban man out of $52, saying that he had an apartment there for rent, told him simply to give her a check stub to make sure he had the funds to pay for the place. She made it sound that easy, so Dennys paid the $52 application for the apartment and background check. After he paid it, she made him jump through hoops, asking for more paperwork, more check stubs etc.
I believe they are using these payments as a scam to milk the Hispanic community out of these $52 payments, and are not giving them a place for rent.
