Put money in my account without permission then asked for half of it back. Called my bank and they kept texting and calling saying that they’ll see me and my daughter soon. That they have my daughters info.

Same experience as others described with the gift card purchases and personal info requests - cashapp seems to be the main tool for the fraud. Claimed they're in Florida with HQ in NYC but both the 'reps' had Indian accents and had no clue about basic details about NYC. When I questioned strange procedures they threatened me with a good cop-bad cop routine. My bank fraud dept. says the money they're 'giving' their customers as a goodwill gesture are actually bad checks. Luckily my account was nearly empty but I'm hoping I'm not on the hook for the amount they tried to steal. They are thieves preying on people who are in emergency situations.

I just received a text message stating that I had been approved for a $5,000 loan and even know my name and bank. I stated yes sure - to test if it is legit because I was applying for loans from a few sites but never got approved because I never process further. So, just give out a randomly number for my wage blah blah. And that person send me a link which ends up LandUpUsa but I never went further and I kind of play along and while text conversation I did my own research online. Finally, I told that person that you are a fraud, scam your company is a fraud and I am not interested in your loan. I will report you! I wish I did go further and see the out come but I didn't wanted to. I am sorry for those who gotten scammed! Why isn't the Police,FBI, BBB doing anything about these folks.

They reached out to me via text message (1st Red Flag). They said I could get up to 9,000. I told them I wanted 3,000. After speaking with them over the phone and giving them my account information, I received an email from my back stating that I had filed 2 claims for 2 amounts that was sent via cash app. I just got off the phone with them and moments later I have 2 claims filed. So I knew for sure this was a scam. So I waited until the next day to call them and play nice just to see what I could get out of them and they admitted to doing the scam. They stated that they never wanted my money, they just wanted to show me how dumb I was by providing them with my account information. Of course all of my credentials were changed over and they do not have access to my account without me knowing.

There is a new number suddenly text me using my name. I did applied a few loans but I didn't fully processed further. New # 786-320-7084. They wanted to talk/call them which I declined. They had already known my Bank name which is weird. Thanks!

I was searching for Loan and this website came up and proceeded to give my info. They sent me $450 to buy a target card and send it to them in February because i needed a loan of $3000 for my nieces first car. As soon as I started to call them about the money they wouldn’t answer and still won’t answer and now im getting charged $450 again

New York address, Florida phone number wanted all of my banking info, including the code your bank sends you to verify your ID. You know the one you're not supposed to share with anybody. Foolishly I gave out my info. they kept calling saying they were having trouble getting the transaction to go through. So I told them nevermind I don't want the loan. The next day my bank emails me about putting a stop payment on a ach from my auto loan. I was like what I never did that. So they fixed that, and went through all my transactions from the last week and these land up guys had tried to charge me 124.99 without telling me(luckily I didn't have the money to cover it and it was declined) then the land up guys disputed my truck payment, so they could get their scam money. My bank red flagged my account at that point. Had to change username &password on my online banking stuff and get a new debit card with a new pin. What a mess. Why haven't the feds shut these guys down and arrested them yet?

Wow that happened to me 2 years ago with a company I gave my information and they put in claims on my auto loan as will. so it made it look like I did not pay my auto loan and I was later and it affected my credit score. This company just reached out to me via- text something was not right when they called and said we will send you a link to fill out and we will need access to my account for 30 minutes. I will not provide that information again.

Received a txt msgs from Jack said he was with Advance America that I have been approved for a loan. He asked how much I was looking to borrow I said $500-$1000 he than stated it was a installment loan that the minimum is $1500. I was a lil curious about this being a scam becuz when he sent the msg saying to click on the link and fill out the form and to let him know when I submitted the application. I asked him if I was approved or if I had to get approved he told me I was already approved that I needed to complete that form cuz it is needed for the loan deposit call from their manager. Red flags for me. I click on it to see where it takes me and I notice it’s landupusa. Totally different company than he said he works for. That right there was all the proof I needed to k is it was a scam.

Loan companies, don’t text your phone, They wanted me to. Send my bank account information, I never even applied for the loan yet. Please take precautions when dealing with your personal information, never give any details about your self, to a stranger, who tells you let me know when you have done the application, but you have just told me I was approved before I could do an application. Please don’t let them get away! Plus how did they get my number to even text message me.

Exactly what I get too but I didn't even go further than that. I just straight told this person that you are a fraud and scam because there are too many bad reviews about your so call company. I block the number and report as scam/fraud/block.

I got a call from them today tell me that I was approved for a loan up to 1500 just to fill out the information online like a dummy I did I gave them my bank information and I was told that they were going to deposit $800 in for insurance that I had to go to a gas station and why are the money back to them within the hour and the money would be in my bank account they did put the 800 in my account but it was under my child support it was under my child support name and under my auto loans name it did not have anywhere their name on it I don't know what is going on it is very confusing I never heard of a loan place needed insurance money but it's money they put in my bank account so I'm very confused I went ahead and close my bank account because I am worried that they would take more money out to have in my information I don't know what I'm going to do about the $800 I don't know if I should make a police report and I'll look up the address it comes back to a jury store but I'll look up the number they taller me from it comes back to number in Florida when they are supposed to be in New York I don't know what is going on

My son applied for a loan. Before he could say no they had the info to send him money that he could not send back. They wanted Walmart gift cards plus they are threatening his family. Seriously. What will happen ? Why would a company do this. Made it impossible for him to send it back.

They sent money into my account today and I told me I had to go to a store to our back when I told him I couldn't go because my daughter was sick they told me to give them my cash app information when that would not work they threatened to send the cops and lawyers to my house if I did not send back the money that they had deposit I don't know have any other loan that puts a deposit in your account for you to send back because of insurance they had me freaked out

Representative phishing for personal information about my bank account information. Asked for my online banking login and password. Told him that is not needed for a loan and just wanted access to my bank account. I called him and told him that I was filing an scam report against the company because he was phishing for information he doesn't need to process a loan. I couldn't find the company on your website. No listing found for landupamerica. I'm assuming in NY because He called from a new York, NY area code, website lists NY address. If you can keep me informed on the matter in case my bank account is jeopardized.

Said they made deposits in my account to verify it for $450. I checked and 3 transactions were being credited to my account (deposited). Transactions did not have a name or what it was. It was in my account and he had never get an Apple iPay prepaid card for $450. Then I tool a pic of the card and txtd to Ben. I waited for 3 hours and still money. Ashley called said my credit score was low so I had to pay $200 for insurance. But it would be given back when proceeds were deposited. Reluctantly I sent them $200 via CashApp to $LZDR007 Lisa Lozada
I have the documentation. They wouldn't send me the loan documents until I paid.
After paying $200 Ben said it would be 30 mins. 2 hours later, still no funds. I called again. The accounting guy did the loan for wrong amount. He did it for $5500 instead of $5200 and they wanted me to pay another $300 up front to cover the error. I refused. I've requested my money back from CashApp and from the erronious claims they filed for $455.66.
Now they will not answer me except to say send more money if I want loan. I don't wantbtheur loan now.
I just want $650 back. I am filing charges against them with my local police department, the FBI, FCC AND SEC.
These people need to be stopped. I cannot move into my apartments now this weekend. They stole my deposit money. I will be home on the street!

I had applied for a loan on their website and after a few minutes received a text message from an Ashley. She said that the funds would be transferred same day. There were some issues but said the funds would be available the next day. The next day there were no funds deposited. I had asked for paperwork to be emailed and was told I would get them after the funds transfer. The next day I was told it failed and would need to pay a $75 fee to retry then told later that an additional fee of $50 was needed because I was in a different state. I called the number that called me the previous day, citing he was her manager. He was aloof and claimed he didn't know why there was a fee but I must pay it. Worst part was how they wanted payment, she advised me to buy a Google Play card with $75 then take a screen shot and text it. Please beware, do not fall for their ridiculous tactics.

I checked the business address on the website and asked where the business was established. That was the first sign, the he/she kept insisting on me inputting my info so I can get 9,000 then proceeded to ask me how much did I want. He then repeated that as soon as I fill out the page which need my personal info(including ssn, address, full name, DOB, etc)
