We were told that we had to fill out an application and pay a fee to view an apartment. When the fee was paid we were told we would have to pay more. We made it clear we were uncomfortable with that. Since it was previously mentioned that we would be able to be refunded, we asked for a refund and were denied. we have consistently asked for a refund and consistently been denied the refund, with no reasoning. The scammer insists we must send them more money despite being told repeatedly that that will not happen.

The apartment was priced reasonably on Facebook marketplace, we thought it was a legitimate ad and we were sincerely mistaken.
