Tony created a contract, which we both signed, and then failed to honor it, effectively defrauding me as the customer. After trying to get him to come out to my property to actually do the work, he failed to show up on multiple times, every single time without notice.
When I asked him about it, it was always some phony excuse: injured, not feeling well, blaming the partner, family emergency, sister died. Turns out plenty of other customers had the same experience and posted it through google, facebook, nextdoor, here on BBB, except this time instead of the sister the mom died, but then he told someone else his mom was getting cancer treatment (after she supposedly died). Tony is a con man with no shame.
Even the diagnostic was a bunch of baloney. The 2 main issues he found, the control panel and the valves, weren't even defective. I hired someone else once it became clear that Tony was not up to the job, and the confirmed that the main issue was actually broken cable.
Fixing the cable solved the problem.
I pressed Tony for a refund about a month after signing our contract. Not only did he not do the job we agreed on, but was also way off on the diagnostic. He said he would refund ... except he didn't. I asked him on multiple occasions and nothing. Tony kept the money and in his mind has no plan on returning it. So far he's ignored a demand letter sent through certified mail and a small claims suit which I had served to him. Tony is the exact definition of a thief and a fraud.
Reviews indicate that Tony is doing this to multiple customers, including members of the military (oddly he claims to be super pro military). Landscape Irrigation inc is a complete scam and should be avoided at all costs.
