I completed a survey from Delta Flight website on October 5th and paid 8.94 for the shipping to get a reward of free La'pura Skin Care products (Anti-Aging Cream and Eye Serum). They sent me the products, but after a month I received a package of the same products again. I was busy during that time and not alert enough, and I forgot to check what happened. A month later I received their products again! I checked my balance and found that they have kept charging me about $88 and $93 each month. By this time they have already charged me $536.22 for three months (excluding the first $8.94 shipping fee). The details for the exact time and charges are below:

10/6/2019, $4.97

10/6/2019, $3.97

10/20/2019, $88.46

10/21/2019, $84.37

11/5/2019, $93.43

11/6/2019, $88.19

12/5/2019, $93.43

12/8/2019, $88.34

I called the bank and the representative told me that they were so sneaky that they altered their name slightly each time when they charged me. Even if she blocked the company, they could still charge me with a different name as long as they have the info of my debit card. Therefore I had to block the whole card and got a new one.

I called the company and they told me that once I placed the order, I would be automatically added to the subscription. The first two products I ordered were also not a reward for the survey -- they said that it was just free trial for 14 days, and they would charge me if I don't call them back in 14 days. The problem was that I didn't receive any notification for either the trial or the subscription, and I also didn't see this information on the website from which I placed the order. The products were also listed "free" in the order confirmation email. However, the representative argued that this information was on the website where I placed the order. I asked her to tell me the website, and it was: www. try/la/pura/skincare.com. However, this was not the website where I placed my order and I also didn't see any information about the charges and subscription on that website. Sadly I couldn't find the website from which I paid for the shipping. It just came out once I chose the reward for the survey on Delta website.

The representative of the company said that they could refund 70% for the last two months' charges and I could keep the products. I asked if I could mail the products back to get a full refund and she said that there would still be a 15% restocking fee if I did that. Also, she claimed that there was no way to get a refund for the first-month charge because it was a free trial.

I search online and found that many people experiencing the same thing. You can see their similar experiences from this website: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.pura-skin-care.com?stars=1

Please! Give punishment to this company and stop them from cheating people. Thank you!!! I wished I had never opened the survey and ordered their products.

Total Scam! I have been dealing with Remarkable Beauty Products since October regarding refunding my money. The order was placed after I submitted a survey to Walmart/Sam's Club at the end of September. I thought I was getting a free product and all I had to do was pay shipping and handling. I was unaware that I had signed up for an automatic subscription. The company started charging my credit card two weeks after I submitted my original order. I called before 30 days to cancel and was told the new products were in the warehouse and the order couldn't be stopped. I was told that once I received the new order in 4-6 weeks I could return all of the products and my funds would be reimbursed. What a con job! Now they are saying I only had 14 days and because I didn't call in the 14 days I can't return the original product. I was also informed that the shipment was never sent. The agent and supervisor both repeated "So sorry for the misinformation! No refund!" What a scam! I will be reporting this company to the BBB! Beware of La-Pura or Remarkable Beauty Skin Care. Do take the survey! These products are never free!

On May 29, 2019 I saw an advertisement on Facebook for La'Pura Skin Care. I saw an article about Dr. Phil being dismissed from his show because he did not disclose that his wife was the owner of this company. The advertisement said click here for your free sample of LaPura Wrinkle Freezing Moisturizer and only pay shipping. I clicked and agreed to pay the $4.95 shipping charge. Before I could check out another offer popped up to see if I wanted to add the LaPura Instant Lifting Eye Serum for an additional $3.95 shipping. I went through the final check out and paid just the shipping charges of $3.95 (DIETARY*SKINFACECA8775578709) and $4.95 (SKINFACIAL CREAM-LA877-557-8709).

Today, 6/12/19 I noticed a charge of $89.99 on my bank account in pending transactions for SKINFACIALCREAM-LAPURA 877-557-8709 CA. I called this 877 number to dispute this charge. The customer service specialist said I had signed up for a 14 day trial period and that my 14 day trial period expired so I was charged for the first full size product that was delivered to me. He said I did not receive a sample, but a full size product. I told him that no where on this process did I see anything saying I was signing up for a subscription with a 14 day trial period. He said he could take me back to the website and show me what he was talking about. I told him I was not going to argue with him because I know what I saw and just wanted my money back. I have not used the products but twice and would ship them back because I did not agree to anything regarding a 14 day trial period. He said he could offer me 50% off of all future shipments, but could not give a refund as the trial period was over. He said I had not been billed for the Eye Serum yet. He said they have a lot of people on social security so they split the payment by two days to allow these people to have money in their account. I told him that did not make sense in any way. I told him I wanted a refund.

He said he could offer me 50% off on the Eye Serum before it bills then cancel my subscription if I wanted to. He had already cancelled the moisturizer, but would not give me a refund. I told him I just wanted to be done with this. I told him I don't want any future shipments. He then proceeded to ask if he could bill me 50% for the Eye Serum then cancel the "subscription". I told him to do whatever he needed to do to end this.

I later called my bank to put a stop payment on these two charges because I found information that this is a scam. Multiple people are reporting the same incident and it is not even linked to Dr. Phil's wife! The people are just using her name. The bank can only put a stop payment on this for 12 months. I am now going to have to request a new card! So I am out $8.90 for shipping of these two products that may not even be legitimately safe!
