I made a purchase for $6.90 using my AmEx card. As I clicked to download my purchase, that action triggered an automatic charge of $25.95 for goods I did not purchase. I contacted the seller and was told they couldn’t refund digital downloads — they would not admit or acknowledge that I hadn’t purchased the larger amount item for which they were charging. There was also no way I could screen shot or otherwise document this transaction, as it all happened as I clicked to download the product I *did* order.

I was originally purchasing a crochet pattern (yarn craft).
