She has her Bengal Catteries (Sitonthethrone Bengals or Reigning Bengals) on many social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, LocalPetsy and Voofla. Laura also posts in facebook groups that she is selling kittens. Both of her actual websites are shut down for both catteries.
Laura's target was an elderly woman who reached out and was discussing purchasing one of her cats "cause Laura was downsizing and moving". The target paid a 500.00 deposit to Laura's husband on June 10th, 2024 and discussions and plans were made for delivery in person and when that could happen. Final payment of $3,000.00 was sent to Laura on October 2nd, and Laura was to arrive at the airport on October 7th. Laura never arrived and target was at airport for hours waiting. When target contacted Laura, Laura offered a bunch of excuses that she was removed from the plane, that Delta switched her flight to another airport and Laura was confused on where she was. Laura stopped responding to messages after sending target to another airport and target waiting at that airport for hours. When contacted via phone Laura did not answer and instead had her husband answer the phone and he pretended to be someone who did not know Laura and said this person lost their phone and it was turned in at some counter. Target confirmed with both airports there was never a Laura Dietz on any flights coming from where Laura lived to either local airport to the target. Both airports also confirmed there was no one traveling with a cat on any flights either. Target asked Laura to refund her money immediately and after much run around, Laura presented falsified documents that were clearly edited, stated she refunded her via PayPal but would not give a confirmation number for the refund. Target contacted Paypal and no refund was ever initiated. Target is out of the money that was sent to Laura and also does not have the cat either. Complete scammer and has scammed others after a much looked into background check.
