On November 19,, 2024 We were attempting to buy a Maltipoo puppy, named Bella. The website was Laurie's Maltipoo Dog - https://lauriesmaltipoodogs.com/available-puppies.html The person selling the dog Anjelina Masya - supposedly located in Denver, Colorado - the price of the puppy was $550.00 - the price - to ship the puppy was $130.00- they asked if we would pay through "Friends and Family" on Pay Pal. I called Pay Pal and they advised me to pay through "Goods and Services" on Pay Pal. so I did. the seller was not happy about this. The next email from them was that the Denver Airport would NOT ship in the "Usual Crates" this Company uses. Anjelina Masya sent me an email - supposedly from the shipping company telling me I had to purchase a $2,700 Crate and keep it after puppy delivery or Rent the crate for $1,800 and send the crate back with the company. We told her we could not accept shipment for the puppy until December 2, 2024. That very evening Friday the 22 - she said there was then she started to say she was at airport and was going to ship the puppy they needed a different crate than hers. I emailed her back and said WHY are you sending the puppy a week before we are able to have her ??? Yikes - the words were sharp - criticizing accusing of absolutely a terrible and very sad experience. When my lawyer friend looked up. the sellers they live Nairobi, Africa. How many people and how much money have these people scammed and it is a family pet we were looking to buy since our puppy died one year ago... not a computer. thank you Better Business Bureau
