Type of a scam Rental
The tactics were very thorough: they used a Facebook account that was over 10 years old. They found an agent that has a lot of information public and copied nearly every detail (photos, past employment, etc). They had videos of the property that I couldn’t find online. They created an entire rental property website with tons of listings that I can assume are all fake. The website was edited (with mistakes) during out conversation to accommodate for what was attempting to be sold to me for the website to look real.
After contacting the actual agent through their actual real estate website, they confirmed the scammer was a fake. Facebook account has since been reported.
