On Monday October 4th, 2021, I received and email from a man named Jack ****. Stating he found me via Indeed. He said he was the payroll director of LBS Consultant. I have every email that has been transferred between us along with every text message. He offered me a Virtual Assistance position for $400 weekly explaining that I would be helping with payroll and other normal assistant tasks. I was never offered to fill out a W-2, even tho I did request one. My main duties of helping him, included printing checks on VERSA checks for his other employees. I was also emailed, all of shipping labels and sent them the checks via FedEX. I did this 2 different times and then suddenly didn't hear word from Mr. **** for 4 days. The one thing that made me think this was a real job, was how consistent Mr. **** checked in on me everyday. So not hearing from his was odd. After 4 days, Mr. **** finally texted and said he was in a car accident. From their communication weakened. On my Employment form that I have attached below, you will see I was supposed to get paid $1,600. I never received a dime. We had come come to an agreement via text message that it would be November 14th. When that day came, he did in fact message me and say he would PayPal me, but after I sent over my PayPal, I never heard from him again. I also paid for a printer that I was promised to be reimbursed for. I understand I look like an utter [censored]. I swear to you though, the text messages and emails made it seem much more real. I really don't know who I was sending money to and what for. I'm just hoping to help the next victim in this and maybe even stop a bigger worse scheme.
