I was lead to believe that if I participated in on online survey, I would be sent a Le Creuset kitchen cookware set. After I provided my information, I learned that it was an "entry" that I paid non-refundable "shipping" charge of $10.95 for a product they never intend to ship. I investigate further and learned this is the Le Creuset SCAM. I found the phone number where I could call to cancel the recurring monthly subscription, and another recurring monthly subscription attached to this one if do not cancel within the first 30 days. I am completely UNABLE to get through to anyone at this phone number no matter when I call or how long I wait. I made this mistake yesterday OCT 13th 2024, and Ohio has a 3-day to cancel to get out of a problem like this, but I cannot get through. I called my credit card company to have the card reissued to prevent the recurring subscription card that they are planning to make in a month or so. I am planning to dispute any charges, but I wanted this on record that this is a scam and I made every attempt to cancel, but the fraudsters did not provide a legitimate way to cancel. They are obviously trying to bait people into the scam and then prevent them in every way from getting out by blocking avenues to comply with their terms of service, if in fact, you figure this out before it is too late! Companies like this appear to be legitimate, but they are not. They are after your personal information and to lock you into a recurring subscription you don't think you can cancel. Look out!
