Someone posed as the homeowner - he called for a no heat situation. We went out to the home with the understanding he would be there as he said he would. We found the issue and called to get payment so we could begin work. He said he would call us back. Then, we emailed him the work order and received a text message saying that, actually, he was out of state and just got into a car accident. We then proceeded to get multiple emails from a "family friend" on his behalf saying that they couldn't pay as he was in the hospital. After looking at the actual property address it shows a different name as the agent (owner:) Total scam.
