I wanted to download a free movie. Leekmedia came up on my search. They offered a free five day trial of their site. Immediately after entering my credit card information and being guaranteed that i would not be charged anything until after the five day free trial period, a page came up asking if I wanted to donate $1 to some charity. There was no other option but to continue. And then I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to Platinum. I did not click the box saying "yes", but clicked "continue". And then it showed my balance owing $4.00 ish USD. Yes, not much money, but it's the principle of it, and if they're doing this a thousand times, a hundred thousand times, well you do the math. I sent a bunch of emails, tried to cancel my account, but the website told me my password didn't match, which I know it did, and then it locked me out after three so-called failed attempts. They eventually refunded me the $1.00 donation, and I sent another email demanding the rest but they have not refunded it thus far.
