This guy came to home door, said his name was *** ***ll and he and his brother *** were the owners of a paving company in Texas, they were in the area and did we want our driveway paved? We said okay, they had a legitimate looking business card. He drew up a contract, we signed, he had a crew at our house in an hour. They did about half the job, we gave him a $2500 check for when he was finished. He rushed off to the bank (because it was a Friday afternoon) and then their roller broke. They said they couldn't finish that day but they'd be back; they just have to replace the roller. They've never come back. They don't answer when we call anymore because they know our number. I tried calling from my phone, a number they don't have, and they answered and said they're still coming back but it's been 2 weeks.
