I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to formally express my concerns regarding my membership with Legendary Vacation and to seek your assistance in resolving what has become a deeply frustrating and financially burdensome situation.

When I initially purchased this membership, I was led to believe that I was acquiring 500 prepaid dynamic weeks at a rate of $400 per week, totaling $200,000. Based on this understanding, I made an $80,000 down payment. However, upon further review, I discovered that my membership only includes 28 Legendary Silver weeks and 2 Bronze weeks, totaling just 30 weeks—with no promotional weeks (such as half-priced weeks) included. This represents a significant discrepancy from what was originally presented to me, raising serious concerns about transparency and fairness.

To illustrate the financial impact of this misrepresentation: if I were to attempt to sell one week for $5,000, I would incur a substantial loss. This is unacceptable and directly contradicts the value I believed I was receiving when I signed the agreement.

Furthermore, I want to highlight that prior to purchasing this membership, I utilized a friend’s Hall of Fame membership to secure a vacation for 10 adults and 4 children for under $10,000 for five days. The sales representatives at Legendary Vacation were fully aware of this prior arrangement. Despite this, they are now attempting to charge me a similar amount for a membership that, based on the terms I was provided, should have included significantly more value. This strongly suggests that I was sold an overpriced package of Legendary Silver weeks, which does not align with my initial expectations or the promises made during the sales process.

Given these discrepancies, I am requesting the BBB’s assistance in the following:

1. Conducting a thorough investigation into the misleading practices of Legendary Vacation.

2. Facilitating the cancellation of my membership and securing a full refund of my $80,000 down payment.

3. Ensuring that Legendary Vacation provides clear and accurate information to all consumers moving forward.

This situation has caused significant financial strain and emotional distress, as I feel misled and taken advantage of by Legendary Vacation. I am deeply concerned about the impact this will have on my financial stability and trust in consumer protections.
