Communication is done through Instagram. User asks you to zelle them money, and to create and account on their website. After creating an account you’ll see your “investment” and the profit increasing. Once the profit is at 20k they instruct you to request withdrawal. After requesting you’ll receive an email notifying you that you need to “upgrade” your account before you can receive your “profit”. You then are asked to zelle them again. Then you are notified there is a transaction fee and are asked for more money. Questioned the person throughout process as it did not feel secure or legitimate. After 3rd payment they requested another 1k for giving them a hard time, and said they won’t release the money until you send more money. Started making threats that I had 30 mins to send the money or I’d never get mine back.
