This is a completely made up answers because they ought to update their website and the pictures to accurately display the dress based on the 'new updated design'. I finally asked to refund the dress on 10/3 after a week of back and forth. 10/5 received a response from them asking the reason for the return! The best part was, I've been exchanging emails with what I assumed the same person based on the signature line - Amber. I responded back the same day reminding them of our conversation and the pictures I had sent them a week earlier. No response. I sent a follow-up email on 10/8 asking for next steps to refund the dress. 10/9 I received a response and link to their Returns and Refund Policy https://lemaya.com/pages/returns-refunds which outlined their 14-day return policy which is completely different from what they put on their main webpage which boasts 30-day return or exchange policy if for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase. Their 'hidden' return policy also states "please note we cannot accept returns of sale items, discounted items, or gift cards". Well, all of their items on their website are on "SALE".
Anyways, I responded on 10/9 to let them know the dress us unworn. on 10/10, I received an email asking with the following questions:
1. Was the dress unused or unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging? Please provide a photo
2. Do you have the receipt or proof of purchase?
3. Lastly, was the item not purchased at a discounted rate?
These questions are entrapments! The dress did not come in any special packaging, and I just realized today that it didn't even come with a tag! Second, I received an email with order confirmation and order no (which I provided from initial email) but nothing else. Third, all of the items on their website are on sale, hence, discounted! They are giving me the roundabout nonsense to drag out the process so 1) return period time would run out and 2) trying to 'proof' that I do not qualify for a refund.
