I accidentally filled this out a second ago with the business name missing a letter- sorry! I clicked on an Instagram ad and ordered a dress through the website, feeling ok since they listed a 100% satisfaction guarantee and an 'easy returns and exchanges' policy. Even though the customer service email lists the location as California, the tracking showed the dress was coming from China. That was my first red flag and I tried to cancel the order then, but there was no way to do it. When I received the dress, in addition to being too small, it was made of a horrible fabric that felt like burlap. I contacted the email listed to ask about a return or exchange, only to be told that the item could not be returned because it was 'discounted.' Here is the catch- EVERY SINGLE ITEM on their site is marked up and then slashed down, meaning that NO items can EVER be returned or exchanged. Nothing is listed as final sale, and the heavily advertised satisfaction guarantees and return policies are inapplicable, as no one can EVER use them. This is highly fraudulent and misleading.

The website was advertised on Instagram. The website states they have a 30 days return no questions asked return and exchange policy. The reviews on the website are 4.5 starts. However, when contacted to return the item (because the product and quality were also not as advertised) they all of a sudden have another return policy that contradicts what they advertise. Upon further investigation, the trust pilot reviews are fake. If you go on to trust pilot website the actual rating is 1.6 with others calling out the scam "return policy" and false advertising. This website/company is dealing in bad faith, falsely advertising, and scamming people with their products.

Bought dress via Instagram (IG) ad. Received dress on 9/26 and sent them an email I received a dress that's not matching to what was advertised on their website and IG. The dress that was advertised was full of crystals even on the sides of the dress where the seams meet. The one I received didn't have crystals 1-2inches gap of missing crystals from where the seams meet on both sides of the dress. I sent them a picture of the dress I received and screen shot of the dress on their website, specifically showing the side of the dress that was completely covered with crystals/sequins. I thought I may gotten a bad one wo I just requested them to send me a dress that's full of crystals just like the one they advertised. Their response was "We made a design update to the Marilyn Monroe dress, removing the zipper due to feedback that it was stiff and damaging to the sheer fabric, which caused issues for many customers. Additionally, the sequins near the joining sections are not applied in a standardized way, so there maybe some variations in how they appear on different dresses."

This is a completely made up answers because they ought to update their website and the pictures to accurately display the dress based on the 'new updated design'. I finally asked to refund the dress on 10/3 after a week of back and forth. 10/5 received a response from them asking the reason for the return! The best part was, I've been exchanging emails with what I assumed the same person based on the signature line - Amber. I responded back the same day reminding them of our conversation and the pictures I had sent them a week earlier. No response. I sent a follow-up email on 10/8 asking for next steps to refund the dress. 10/9 I received a response and link to their Returns and Refund Policy https://lemaya.com/pages/returns-refunds which outlined their 14-day return policy which is completely different from what they put on their main webpage which boasts 30-day return or exchange policy if for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase. Their 'hidden' return policy also states "please note we cannot accept returns of sale items, discounted items, or gift cards". Well, all of their items on their website are on "SALE".

Anyways, I responded on 10/9 to let them know the dress us unworn. on 10/10, I received an email asking with the following questions:

1. Was the dress unused or unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging? Please provide a photo

2. Do you have the receipt or proof of purchase?

3. Lastly, was the item not purchased at a discounted rate?

These questions are entrapments! The dress did not come in any special packaging, and I just realized today that it didn't even come with a tag! Second, I received an email with order confirmation and order no (which I provided from initial email) but nothing else. Third, all of the items on their website are on sale, hence, discounted! They are giving me the roundabout nonsense to drag out the process so 1) return period time would run out and 2) trying to 'proof' that I do not qualify for a refund.
