I received an email saying that I was "totally approved" for a loan of $5000 along with the name of the loan officer and his phone number, along with a loan agreement through Dropbox Sign that I was supposed to provide esignatures on. But after reading through the "loan agreement" I noticed several things that didn't add up, so I reached out to the real Lending Club and had them check their system with both my information and that of the suspected scammer and I was told that it absolutely was a scam and to not sign anything.
