Michael Kennedy contacted me via email stating I was approved for a loan of $8,000. I stupidly filled out the form with my name, birthday, social security number, banking account information.

Once I sent the form, I immediately felt something was off.

I have changed my account log in information which was also requested on the “official loan document”.

I did notice a charge for $0.00 for cash app, but my account is in the negative.

Cash app doesn’t allow you to draw from an overdrawn account, so I haven’t lost money yet, but I am afraid I have made a huge mistake in filing out the form.

I have also filed a dispute with the official website that the form was sent through called Dropbox sign. I hope they cancel my signed document before I turn into a victim of identity theft.

This person, Michael Kennedy email me stating I was approved $8000. I gave this person a call and listened to what he was trying to offer. By the end of the call my personal information he had already. The total went to $3000 due to me feeling uneasy. He stated that they would deposit a certain amount of money into my banking account and in returned I would have to send back what they deposit in my account either through cash app or Walmart. I told him I had an uneasy feeling and to let me think about this. Once I hung up, I came to the internet to see if the phone he was calling from was a scam. I’m so glad that i didn’t go through the entire process. Now I’m going to watch my account and contact my bank to make sure there’s nothing going on.
