I got a text message that they wanted me to use Signal to set up a meeting with Mr. Mark Livesey. The original person was Emily Donovan. Same scenario, different person. They had a bunch of questions telling me about the job and asking if I would be interested. I told them i had just looked up their organisation on the ScamPulse.com website and it said that they were linking you (LEP Network) with a scam. Needless to say, he left the conversation. I don't know if they got any private information or not. Guess i'll have to wait and see.

I received the below message - the scammers obtained my phone number from my resume that was on a job board. This is not the first time this style of scam has been tried on me. These scams always:

Exclusively reach out through text message

Use a fake name as a hiring manager

Use a real company, and the real name of an employee from said company to seem legitimate

Ask you to reach out to said real person through a 3rd party message (Signal, WhatsApp, Zoom, etc)

Provide an "interview code" for the upcoming "interview"

Text message soliciting my reply via signal. I didn’t apply for a job with the lep network and I was suspicious of their use of signal.

I replied to the text to get more information, but never received a response.
