I contacted the seller on Letgo to purchase a video game system Nintento Switch. I sent the payment for the purchase through CashApp. Once it was sent, he wouldn't give me the tracking number and demanded more money claiming the package was stuck in customs. He then proceed to threaten me and sexually harrassment my fiance after she asked for a refund.

I was selling an item on the Let Go app and encountered a scammer. The person emailed me and purchased my $40 item but sent me a $2500.00 check through ups with tracking. When I received it I asked why such a large amount was sent and the sender told me they were buying other items in my area and wanted me to deposit the check then immediately withdraw $1500.00 to give to the person that would pick up the item.

I listed something for sale on the app called let go. Someone said they would buy it but wanted to send a check. They sent a check for four times the agreed upon amount and wanted me to wire them the balance. All of our communication was done through text. They had a text now account which can be bought and assign any phone number. Check was mailed from California, had an Illinois address on it, and wanted me to wire money to North Dakota. The check obviously bounced.
