They attempted to sell me my house that I rent. They sent me a contract to sign. Everything looked legit. They had asked for the down payment for the house and set it up as installment agreements. Even gave a receipt for each transaction. However, when my landlord told me that he never put my house up for sale. I stopped paying. I talked to the person, and they told me they would refund me my money back. They kept sending me on a wild goose chase with a new reason or excuse every time I reached out until they stopped responding all together. I have gotten behind in bills and all trying to pay they the deposit for this house. As well as lost money that could have been used for other things. It just was not right. They reset my credit files, and I cannot even go in to see what happened or even know what to do to fix any of this.
