The scammer pretended to be a school professor at ECU working with disabled children. He offered me a job to work with him, but he claimed that he currently working in Australia, and would be back February 26. He first asked to buy a check book, but later changed his mind and asked me to purchase gift cards, that I could afford. I sent 2 apple gift cards worth up to 50 dollars in total on February 4 and 5. Eventually he sent me a false online check, and when I discovered that this check was a fake, I found out the whole thing was a lie, and managed to refund at least half of the money that sent to the scammer. He used the email [email protected], and his phone number was listed as 252 375-3750
