I applied for a job on the internet. I updated the site with my address and cell number. The site advised they would pay me $2400 to represent their company. They were going to send me a check to deposit in my account as initial payment. It was a confusing conversation and didn't make sense to receive payment for work I hadn't done. I told them I was not interested, but they sent a check anyway by postal priority mail. I never deposited the check and received another check a couple weeks later also as priority mail.
