I came across an ad on facebook about these beautiful little waldorf dolls. The company was called Licemere and they promised a genuine Waldorf doll for the low price of $30. When I clicked the link it brought me to their page where I could select which doll I wanted to purchase. I made a selection and provided payment information (debit card) and shipping information. I then received an email confirmation of my order and something just felt off about it so I decided to look up the company online. It turns out they have stolen images from a genuine waldorf doll artist's website and are using them as their own. I immediately contacted Licemere via email, as they do not provide a phone number for customer service. I told them that I would like to cancel the order and get a refund. This was on September 12th, 2024. They NEVER responded to my request. Then on September 16th they sent me a shipment confirmation email. I responded to that email and told them to cancel the order and give me a refund. They again did not respond. A couple of weeks passed by and I surprisingly received a shipment. When I opened the box and compared the doll in the box with the image of what I ordered, it was very clear to me that this was a knock off. On October 17th, I finally got a response from them which said "Dear buyer, I am very sorry that the product cannot meet your satisfaction. Since we are an international trade company, the buyer needs to bear the freight for returning the product, which is very expensive. Therefore, we can return 5% of the cost for you and provide 20% discount code as compensation. Best wishes". Very upsetting!!!

These people have stolen the true artist's images and ideas and are profiting from it. They are also undercutting her business by selling them at a much lower price. This company needs to be flagged and investigated. They are falsely advertising something that they don't provide to the customer. Cheap Chinese junk!! Also the fact that they never responded to me until weeks after the order was placed is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.
