I had surgery May 1st 2020. This company just took our money and are not going to help with a large amount of medical bills! I spent hours on the phone since the surgery trying to get my bills taken care of! They kept telling me that they had not received the medical records. I picked up copies of my medical records myself and sent them at least 3 times and was still being told they did not have them! I got a different story every time I called. They are big time scammers and just work to steal your money! It is July 5th 2021 and now I’m being told that they are not going to take care of my medical bills! Please don’t be scammed by this company like my family! What a joke of a so called insurance company.

DO NOT purchase health insurance from these people. I bought a policy in Nov. of 2018, never missed a payment. Sent a hospital emergency room bill to them for services on 3/3/2019 (which they admit they received on 4/11/2019). It's been 7 months and supposedly the claim is still being "reviewed". I've called weekly and was told the claim would be "escalated" that was 4 times now, each time they promised a return call - no call back. This last time I called they told me (manager Tony Garcia) that bill was sent to the Farmington Hills, MI office and there was nothing more he could do. I asked for the phone # or email for that office - he told me he didn't have one (yeah right). I'm out $4000.00 for a policy that never paid a dime back out and now I'm stuck with a hospital bill I can't afford to pay. STAY AWAY FROM LIFESHIELD INSURANCE - It's nothing more than FRAUD!
