Found a corgi puppy website. Beautifully done with pics of puppies. Contacted the "breeder" via email and received a response quickly by a "Tristan Carr" via text. They emailed additional pics of the puppy and said they would have no problem shipping the puppy to me. When I asked questions regarding the disposition of the puppy, shipping details, etc I received generic answers back. They set up a tracking number for shipping and told me to check the website petsflyamerica.com and enter the tracking number to confirm shipping details were correct. Once that was established, they wanted to discuss payment. Charging $600 for pup (too good to be true) and an additional $245 for shipping. They asked that I pay via cashapp but in increments for $250 per transaction. That is when I knew it was a scam. I tried calling the cell number that I was using to text them and a man with an middle eastern/african accent answered and would not talk to us. He said he was "busy and in the middle of something" and hung up the phone. I texted him back and told him that we know this is a scam and he came back with a rude response and continued to text cashapp info and venmo info to get his payment. I eventually blocked him.
