I keep seeing these ads/claims about government aid or food allowances "nearly every American is qualified for". Was cautious but decided to make the phone call as I'm desperate to believe with the cost of food and health care and my upside down budget maybe the government does care enough to help.

So I answered their 3 qualifying questions and got the response that I did qualify for a 3,269 benefit. I just needed to call the phone number provided.

When I asked if it was ok to record the phone call I was abruptly disconnected.

I have saved screenshots I'd be happy to share of the interaction and questions and claim that I qualified but aren't able to include them here for some reason.
