I purchaced two general admission tickets for $40 each which included a water lantern with admission, plus an extra lantern for $15 for their Fairfax Virginia event. I recieved tickets online to print up and bring to the event for admission and for the lanterns. The event was originally supposed to be held in May of 2019, but it got canceled and rescheduled for September 7th 2019. The event was cancled again on September 7th. It was a perfectly sunny day and the forecast called for a sunny day on Septenber 7th 2019. They never gave a reason for the cancelation and they never gave a rescheduled event date. Its been ten days and they never responded to any of my emails. I asked for either my money back or at least information about the rescheduled event date. They never responded. I posted on their facebook page about it. They deleted their post to get rid of my comment and reposted it without my comment. So now Im out $95 that I paid for an event that never happened. They've also increased their prices to $75 for one general admission ticket on their website so beware because they are scamming people out of even more money now. Also on their facebook page are many posts about suing some other water lantern company for saying they are frauds. I suspect thats also a ploy to intimidate people from reporting their scam.
