This scammer put up a website claiming they put up lantern events throughout America. We were tricked into buying 6 tickets to the event in Sacramento for $610. They never provided an address to the event, even up to the week of the event. There is no phone number for us to call. There is only a "Send a message" function on their website. When we still didn't receive any address for the event a few days before the event, we started to get suspicious and went online to research and found that they have been scamming people. They don't have any event planned. They sent us an email saying the event got rescheduled due to fire hazard warning in Sacramento. When we called the City of Sacramento, neither the city nor the fire department has any knowledge of such planned event. For such large event, we would assume that they would need a city permit and the fire department would be need to be notified. But, there was nothing. There never was going to be an event for us to attend. We called our credit card to dispute the charge. They sent us a threatening message saying they will send us to a collection agency.
