My bank caught on before I did and all the checks were returned and my account was put on hold/blocked. Because of this I had to close my bank account, file a fraud claim and open a new account.

When I told Eric my account was locked and I had to go into the bank to have it unlocked he told me to call him with any problems. He then called me back (no background noise this time) to tell me that the whole thing was a scam and that he was very sorry he did this to me. And to tell the bank I had nothing to do with it, that I was scammed and he was very sorry.
He called back a few hours later and offered to send me $10,000 via Western Union if I paid the $350 fee (no fee for receiving money from Western Union). He told me he would call me back on 9/18/24 when I get paid again to send the money.
