I posted that I was looking for tickets to a sold out event on the facebook event page. An individual on facebook using the account "Lillie Fuentes" messaged me privately and asked if I was still looking for tickets. I replied the morning after the event passed that I was sorry I missed their message. They replied "Are you still interested in buying tickets?" Since they were asking if I was interested in buying tickets to an event that had already passed, I assumed it was a scam and proceeded to engage in conversation to confirm it was and said I wanted 4. I asked for confirmation they had tickets and they sent me a screenshot of what appeared to be a generic confirmation of a ticket purchase with the confirmation number blocked out. They asked for $25 for each ticket and to send money via paypal using the family & friends method to account: [email protected]. We engaged in conversation over the course of the week, with the individual calling me via Facebook messenger, which I didn't answer. The account was very sparse with only 2 pictures and while they claimed to have moved recently from Mississippi to Las Vegas for work, the only check ins on the account were in Nigeria.
