They called and wanted to talk to my ex husband so I thought it was about them. When I called they said it was about me and that I had an old bank account from 19 years ago that was over drafted over $4000.00. If I didn't take the settlement offer that day of $2000.00 they would tack on the attorney fees of over $2000.00 to the balance. Debt like that is time barred though and I knew it. I also knew the debt was false and my ex husband was never on that account. I called them back and let them know I was reporting them to the authorities.

My husband and i both receved a call saying there has been a complaint filed against myself and I needed to return their call to avoid further action against me. They left a reference number as well as a call back number.

I got a phone call about my husband, his father also got a call that someone filed a complaint on his name and gave me a case file number. When I called and told them I was his wife they told me they couldn’t give me any information and were trying to serve him at work? If that is the case usually they do not call they just show up and serve papers or mail it to you. They would not tell me anything about why they were calling me, they haven’t even tried to call my husband but called me and my FIL.
