I received a text on Messenger supposedly from my cousin in Illinois. She said she had received money through Lion Club International and that it was a legitimate grant. It sounded good and she gave me the agent’s name, Aaron Richard, and his phone number, 740-318-2481. This was through Messenger. I should have called her directly but I did not - just kept talking to “her” on Messenger and she kept urging me to contact this agent and apply for this grant. I finally did and he told me I qualified and how to receive money. I had to buy four $500 gift cards for Amazon from

Walgreens and then send pictures of the cards. Stupidly, I did that. After I sent the pictures, Arron told me to go back to the store as the cards were not activated. Of course they were activated but I am sure by this time the cards were used and gone. The store manager told me it was a scam.
