I received a Letter asking me to renew my DBA name the fee is for 100 for 5 years, as I was about to write a check I noticed that the DBA the prefilled on the forms I received is my email address and not my actual DBA name. That was very suspicious to me and decides not to pay. Since this is the 1st time is 7 yrs I get this bill.

I received a letter requesting that I renew my actual fictitious business name. However the form was pre-filled to renew a different business name. It would have renewed Alay Holdings in Los Angeles CA, however the business Alay Holdings is not listed at: https://businesssearch.sos.ca.gov/.
