We found Maine [censored] kittens for sale through Facebook and communicated through messenger. The scammer sent pictures of the cats available and we chose one that she claimed was within our budget of $400. She also said she would deliver the cat to our house in California - about 4 hours one way from Fresno. She wanted our name address phone and email, and $150 deposit to hold the cat. I got the Venmo ID of @Jacklyn-Escobar-857 with a code of 7640. I actually accidentally sent the money to the wrong person twice - to @Jacklyln-Escobar-857-7640 and this person kept requesting the $150 but I declined the third time. She then asked if we had Cash App, Apple Pay or Paypal and gave her email of [email protected] . We then started to suspect something was off as the names don't match up, and she claimed that Jacklyn is her secretary and she runs multiple businesses. I used the Google AI feature to take a picture of the cat she was trying to sell us, and found that it was listed on a different breeder's website. I messenger her that we suspected she was scam, and it looks like she deleted her Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/446604418544577
