We were scammed out of 12,600 US ON July 5, 2023 and after filing numerous complaints the website has finally been deemed “expired” so it’s about time that hopefully no one else will be scammed! We also used a wire transfer and the bank will not do anything even though they gave scammers free crime money with no questions asked so way to go CIBC! How many people did these scammers scam is my question and why is the bank not responsible for sending such a large amount of money without asking any questions? We had no idea the bank would not be reliable so sad to see how corrupt the world has become!

Our company searched for construction equipment online and the search returned this "company". We reached out to them via e-mail and a responder who identified as "Richard Harris" acknowledged the equipment availability and instructed us to send a 50% deposit to secure the purchase of the $20,000 tractor. Interested in visiting the location and inspecting the equipment before purchase, we checked the address listed on the company website but the address is actually for another business, Townline Machinery Auction, LLC, who we contacted for clarification. That business confirmed there is no such entity as Lite Equipment Inc at that location and has had numerous complaints of scam attempts. They said they have reported it but had not seen anything done. The phone number provided by the suspected scammer - 440-534-9388 - has been flagged online previously as a spam real estate purchasing autodialer.

I was scammed by the same people. Have you tried getting your funds back or are we screwed? My bank says noway to return wired $$. Thanks...
