Hello. I am a current employee of Lively, formerly known as GreatCall. Since working here, there is a number of alarming things we have to do in order to maintain our customers, typically those who are elderly. Most of the phones, if not all, are refurbished but we are not allowed to tell our customers this and have to tell them they are brand new, whilst charging the phones at full price and lively has actually also recently increased the price of all plans and refurbished phones. Also in late Jan - Feb 2023, our company was going through an 'outage' that we were required to tell all of our customers was due to a made up 'update' to our systems but really the cause was unknown. This outage caused thousands of our customers to go weeks,and for some over a month, to be without a phone, all while still charging them for a monthly plan and only giving reimbursements if they personally called our customer care line. Most if not all of our customers are elderely or have special needs so this dentrimental for them. This company, and as someone who is employed by them is a fraud and scams the elderely population. I'm begging for an investigation to be done within the higher ups of the company and our CEO, David Inns. Thank you. - From a concerned employee
