Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was interested in one of the Macaws for sale. I placed the order. Thats where I was told to pay with Zelle or Cash App. When I said I would rather use a credit card. That at least would have purchased protection. They wanted me to use Google wallet or Google Pay or Apple pay. They even sent me videos of the birds. The site looks legit.

But I started digging. By doing a reverse phone search. It went to a Exotic Live Parrots. Basically a similar website. Only prices were even higher.

They were telling me with the purchase of the bird. They would be sending some toys and food ahead of the bird. Which I told them I could take delivery of the bird anytime after the 29th of July.

In the meantime. I went out and purchased a large Macaw cage 60 x 36 x 48. Along with some other supplies.

Now they don't even respond back.
